I know what you mean about FB. I am slowly starting to accept my ways and expression can be quirky and very different for many people. So I tend not to get many comments anyway.

Kelly, that was wonderful! I am 71, and it has been only in recent years that I have come to realize this about myself. How fortunate you are to have realized it so young. The Bible speaks of working for the glory of God rather than the glory of man, so that was always in the back of my mind, but we can so easily fool ourselves. I catch myself being disappointed at times when FB friends fail to comment on a status that I felt was my gift to them. In the beginning it could ruin my day. I am gradually working past that. We do need each other, but not to the extent that we can't function alone. Thank you so much for sharing yourelf with us. You cast light upon our path. I enjoyed the quote from Jackson Kiddard. I agree with Simone. You are a wonderful writer.
