T Is For TICKLED PINK

2015 POST As the challenge goes on for this A to Z writing extravaganza the words get slightly tougher as my theme is feelings. I was considering ‘thankful’, but then I thought I would simply share what tickles me pink and I admit perhaps some are more awe-filled and not so tickled, but joy tickles me so awe is tickly too (smile).

TICKLED PINK :

  1. verb (used with object), tickled, tickling. 1. to touch or stroke lightly with the fingers, a feather, etc., so as to excite a tingling or itching sensation in; titillate. 2. to poke some sensitive part of the body so as to excite spasmodic laughter. To fill with mirth or pleasure; delight. Very pleased; delighted.

So feeling tickled pink is so much about feeling absolutely delighted.

What Makes Me Tickled Pink?

Animals

I love animals, adore cats and they absolutely fill me with delight. There is nothing better than having a cat rub up against your leg and purr in your face.

Singing

I love to tone, chant and sing my heart out.

Travelling To New Places By Airplane

As some of you may know I also have another blog called Travelling Footprints (now closed) . I have not been travelling in some time so it’s taking a bit of a hiatus right now, but I get soooo excited when I am flying somewhere new, I am seriously a child in a sweet shop.

Sitting On The Beach Looking At The Ocean

This needs no explanation. Sun,sea and sand… Bliss.

Kissing Someone I love

Who doesn’t like kissing? Not only is it excellent foreplay it’s just plain yummy. Kissing gets me totally in the moment, connected with the person I am kissing and makes me absolutely tickled pink.

Aromatherapy Massage

I rarely get the chance to go see a professional, but when I do I am in heaven. I love the smell of the essential oils and getting a full body massage. Just letting my body let go and receive some attention, yum!

Outdoor Cafes In The Summer

I am a sucker for outdoor cafes. I think sometimes I should live somewhere you can eat outside all year round. I love pavement cafes where you can have breakfast or a coffee and watch the world go by.

Walking In Nature And Discovering Magical Views

I love going off the beaten track, exploring and ending up some place new and beautiful.

Restaurants With A View

On my bucket list is to visit New Zealand and many other places. To enjoy dinner and wine with a beautiful view like above?? Yes please.

Receiving Flowers Out Of The Blue

I rarely receive flowers. I have given flowers a lot over the years, but rarely receive a real bouquet of flowers and when I do I light up inside.

Being Tickled By Someone I Love

I love literally being tickled pink by someone I love. Tickling puts me totally in my inner child and my inner child likes to play and giggle.

Fairgrounds And Theme Parks

Give me a roller-coaster, a merry-go-round and a day to be a child and squeal with delight – tickled pink YES!

Publishing My First Book

And let’s not forget achieving something we have worked hard at. As you can see pink cheeks I was so pleased and in awe. This was the day I had a copy of my book ‘When Everyone Shines But You delivered to me.
